What to expect
A glimpse of what your first Sabbath morning at Newbold looks like.

A warm welcome at the door
Look for the welcome team in the lobby. Tell them it’s your first time and we’ll show you where everything is, including children’s classes.
- 02
Smart-casual is just right
Most people dress smart-casual, but you’ll feel at home in whatever you’re wearing. Come as you are.
- 03
Worship and a thoughtful message
Songs, scripture, prayer and a 25-minute message. Children are welcome in the main service or in their age-graded class, whichever suits you.
- 04
Tea, coffee and a chat
Stick around afterwards. We’d love to meet you, hear your story and answer any questions you have.

Common questions
A few things people often ask before they visit. If you have a question that is not here, we would love to hear from you.
- Do I need to be Adventist?
- Not at all. Everyone is welcome, regardless of faith background or beliefs. We look forward to meeting you.
- What should I wear?
- Come as you are. Most people dress in smart-casual; you will feel at home in whatever you are wearing.
- Can children attend?
- Absolutely. We have engaging Sabbath School classes and activities for children of all ages, with parent helpers and a clear safeguarding policy.
- Can I just observe?
- Of course. Feel free to participate as much or as little as you like. Your presence is a blessing, and we respect your comfort level.
